Team Stingray is made up of four Year Nine (2020) Trinity College boys, Matt Maine, Joel Carcich, Madoc Lanfear-Appleby and Jacob Palmer who successfully swam the Rottnest Channel Swim (19.7km) on 20 February 2021 in a time of 5 hours 37 minutes. We are raising money for the charity “Sock it to Sarcoma”.
We fund research into sarcoma, a rare and aggressive group of primary bone & soft tissue tumours; provide better understanding for sarcoma patients through community awareness and support gold standard holistic clinical care for sarcoma patients.

I stupidly said $100 if you beat 6 hours when at the 10k mark! Well done the 4 of you. It was a pleasure to be aboard - your attitude and teamsmanship was first class. Next year 5 hours! Well done.
