4 years old and already so smart, kind and beloved by her community. Sharlette Bardsley is fighting a battle that no child should ever have to fight, she is resilient for someone so small but she doesn't need to do this alone.
On the third of May after an emergency MRI, our family got news that shocked us to the core. Our beautiful 4 year old, the first born of our next generation, had a 5cm by 5cm brain tumour wrapping its way around her cerebellum and brain stem. The last month has been filled with worry and waiting, emergency transporting, two brain surgeries, countless conversations, tears and praying. The surgeries have impacted Sharlette's movement on her right side that may or may not improve with therapy and she will also be starting radiation at the Melbourne Hospital on the 10th of June. Following this, Sharlette will be undergoing Chemotherapy for a minimum of 6 Months.
Hopelessly trying to find a way to help in such a horrible situation, my family have started this campaign to try and give some assistance to our Sister and Mother who have left everything behind in Tas to battle this Brain Monster right there beside our baby girl. The money raised will be used for essentials needed to Survive in a city and hospital, 700km and a bass straight away from home. We don't want our front line family defence worrying about money right now, and would be eternally grateful if you could give a lending hand. Please keep us in your prayers and together, we will get Sharlette through this.
Wishing you guys the best xx
