Team Arbitrary Quacks will be driving 1/3rd of the way around the world from Prague to Ulan-Ude in Russia this year! We will be completing the Mongol Rally. www.theadventurists.com/adventures/mongol-rally The rules are simple, drive a car less than 1000cc, pick your own route and raise ?1000 for charity. The charities we will be supporting are Cool Earth and Kids Research at Westmead. Sadly we have lost a team member and therefore we are down to a team of two, a doctor and a nurse. Despite the fact that we are medically trained and working as health professionals, the work that is done by these lovely people at Cool Earth and Kids Research at Westmead has a far greater impact on more people than we could ever achieve in our careers. For those of you that have been following we made some mistakes in our last attempt at fundraising, despite our mistakes we raised ?500 for Cool Earth! Thankyou to everyone who donated :o) but we do need to raise another ?500 for our second charity - Kids Research at Westmead. We have set the target for $1000 (which is roughly the same as ?500) . Anything which is raised above and beyond this target will be donated on a 50:50 basis to both charities. Yes this is now a personal fundraiser, we would like to sincerely apologies for the fees despite all proceeds going to charity. Please support us in our drive to save the world :o)
