OCR FM is a community radio station broadcasting across Colac and surrounding district, providing listeners with local information and entertainment. Due to current social distancing measures, we cannot run our regular fundraising activities such as BBQs, movie screenings, trivia nights or live music events. A number of local businesses who would normally contribute sponsorship are also currently out of action due to COVID-19, and are therefore unable to support the station in their regular capacity. As such we are calling on supporters to donate online to support the station. Funds raised will assist with meeting the costs of running a radio station, which include licences for music broadcast and streaming services, insurance, equipment maintenance, plus regular utilities such as rent, power, phone etc. In return for support, OCR FM are able to provide the community with programming by non-paid volunteers playing music and sharing local information.
