Inspiring Future World Changers

We are incredibly lucky as a school to have an observatory. We are unlucky that it has been storm damaged and is currently unusable. Our best telescope sits in a science prep room waiting for its home to be repaired.
We are lucky to have 4 science labs but we are unlucky that they came with the school when it was originally built - well before any of us were born, or in most cases thought of!
A group of our science students competed against 7 schools at the South West Slopes Science and Engineering Challenge - we came 1st in 3 challenges, 2nd in 2 and 3rd in 2. Overall we came 3rd despite being 2 challenge teams short.
Our students really are our future world changers and they deserve state of the art labs and equipment - even labs up-to-date as of 1999 would be an improvement.
