Raising funds for: Fiji women and Children commune
Hello, This year I am giving up my Christmas and New Years and going to a women and children's shelter in Fiji to offer them the gift of hope. These women are locked into a mindset of poverty and mental illness, have no direction or hope and have nothing to be grateful for. This crowd funding campaign is because these women need our practical help also. We need resources to help fund buisness opportunities for the families to help them out of poverty. The funds will go towards rent, buying seeds to plant gardens or beads to make jewellery or may go towards their education to teach them new skills. Please follow my journey and I will show you how worthy this cause is and where your resources will be going if you decide to gift. El x

The best classroom in the ???? was in the presence of this elderly lady Monika. Monika is illiterate, owns nothing and doesn't know how old she is. Her story touched my ??. Her husband and only son died and the rest of her family turned their back on her????. She had no where to go so was forced to the women's shelter where she has been since. God is her priority and she although she has nothing, she assures me God is all she needs. She can't do much anymore, so she prays all day whilst stroking her crucifix beads. She is so grateful despite shitty life circumstances. When I asked her what her hope was she said that while her days are numbered, all she hopes for is people to visit her in her room. Monika humbled me, scared me and inspired me. I left with the biggest dose of life gratitude and a new hope... that one day like Monika, I have faith to move mountains.

????Meet Mili, she is a 80 year old widow and the longest resident of the Hart Shelter. Mili was forced to live here 20 years ago after the death of her husband and one of her children. Mili gets $50 a month off the government and after rent she is only left with $15 a month to buy food and basic needs. Even at 80 years old, Mili has a beautiful hope that one day she will have a place to call home. ?????? To practically help her I am going to raise 1 yr of rent money so she can just chill for 2018 #stickyhope

Gday supporters. Just doing a bit of christmas shopping before heading to the Womens and children commune in a couple weeks. From past experiences these ladies usually need really simple things that we take for granted such as: Sanitary and hygiene items Pain killers Foot wear Sewing kits I'm also getting them: Journals and pens Lip balm Nail polish Bracelet making kits. I'm hoping there is enough room in my bag for everything so will definately be packing light. If you can think of anything else I should bring for them that is travel easy, let me know. Thankyou for donations thus far. Bless you El x
