CAT FOOD TOXICITY
We’re almost there. Once we reach $3750 I can begin testing the food and will release positive findings immediately to the public and advise WERUVA. If anyone has received partial or full refunds for the veterinary treatment of their cats please let me know. To date my understanding is that the cost of food only has been refunded back to clients. Thank you to all for your generosity. Particularly to those clients with affected cats who have received no compensation. Enormous gratitude and loving kindness to those who lost cats to this food - no amount of compensation will replace your kitty.
I will personally fund the rest of the campaign if we need to test more foods to be sure.
This campaign will fund the plight of cats affected after consumption of Best Feline Friend canned food made by WERUVA.
The reason for the 'toxicity' was claimed to be thiamine deficiency however this is not the whole story. Once we reach the target we can begin testing the food for nutritional content and HUNDREDS of toxins. The results will be known within a week and will be made public immediately. To date, as far as WERUVA is concerned there will be no liability for covering veterinary costs of treatment. Not to mention the cats who lost their lives because of this.
Food testing is expensive - $500 per sample. Testing is performed by a nationally recognised and government awarded laboratory. It will include pesticides, herbicides, multiple heavy metals, important toxins and complete nutritional analysis.
This campaign will be a jump-starter for a start-up project that will begin a voluntary scheme for pet food manufacturers monitored by pet owning people.
Please support my campaign.

This campaign will not end until we reach a level where we can begin testing.
WITHOUT independent testing we may never know the answer
