Beloved Dimbulah teen, 17 year old Elyse Miller, was in a serious head on car accident on Wednesday night, 3rd August and is currently in critical condition in the intensive care unit (for anyone who hasn't heard (please follow link on news story)

Elyse's state of injuries are extensive. Elyse has been moved to Townsville to be closer to our regions specialist neurological team and will need her families support long term.

Elyse is a well known local model and sweetheart of FNQ, who only a week ago proudly represented Queensland in Melbourne at the 'The Miss World Australia National Finals', Elyse is studying grade 12 and is a beloved part of the Dimbulah Farming Community and will undoubtedly need support from our loving friends and the wider community.

We would like your help to lift the 'financial burden' from Elyse's family for travel, accommodation and ongoing bills to continue running their lime farm, so they can focus on supporting their little girl as she fights for her life during this unfathomably difficult time. Elyse's family have received your kind messages and heartfelt thoughts, at this stage they are focused on Elyse and are unable to respond, but are humbled and astonished at the offers of kind words and generosity.

Thank you to the Miller family's local community who have helped pack and run their farm in their absence, your kindness is greatly appreciated. Elyse can not receive flowers in hospital and so please do not send gifts and flowers. The family kindly appreciate your respect for privacy in relation to Elyse's condition.
