For many low income families meeting the cost of all educational expenses is not possible. This project will allow students who may not be able to pay the course fees of either Outdoor Education in years 9 - 12 or Duke of Edinburgh (Bronze) to undertake these subjects as part of their secondary school education.
The Program will pay the course fees and provide the necessary hiking and camping gear to successfully undertake these subjects.
The Equipment Library will be providing all the necessary gear for the program as part of its community engagement and social justice objectives.
The program will be promoted by use of newsletters, Facebook and Twitter (soon to be launched), at local markets and other stalls undertake by The Equipment Libray
