The Morningside Panthers have decided to Walk a Mile in Her Shoes to raise awareness for domestic & sexual violence against women.
Australian Football has traditionally been a male dominated sport. As men, we have a responsibility to always respect the women in our lives. By hosting the event, both the Morningside Panthers & the AFL are helping to help share their core values of respect towards women.
The club invites everyone to join the cause and help create a community which is safe for everyone, no matter their gender.
By raising $50 for males or $25 for females you can join the challenge and join the largest male led movement in the world aimed at reducing instances of violence against women.
Men will be loaned a pair of red high-heeled shoes. Raise more money and you will receive extra benefits, all the while helping to show your support by WALKING A MILE IN HER SHOES.
A portion of funds raised will go towards event management costs. All remaining profits will go towards White Ribbon Australia. For further information, please contact the event organisers.
