2009 Urban Descent will be held from the 30 April - 2nd May 2010 at the WACA Ground.
Our History
Urban Descent evolved from the Allendale Abseil event which commenced in Perth, Western Australia in 2002 to raise money to support the work of the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation. The event has steadily expanded over the years. Participants from all walks of life take part, including individuals, schools, the corporate sector, media and sports stars. Since its inception, over 1300 participants have taken part and raised over $1.3 million.
How it works
Register online here , select the activities from the Extreme Choices Menu below and set about raising the money on mycause.com.au. This year Urban Descent aims to raise $300,000.

- Skywalk - Step out into thin air and traverse from tower to tower
- Double Dare - Classic 60 plus freefall abseil

Cost
INDIVIDUAL:
Choose from the ‘Extreme Choices Menu’.

STUDENT AGED 16+:
The cost is $600 for a set menu of one abseil and one flying fox
CORPORATE TEAM:
The cost is $1200 per person – with a MINIMUM of 4 people per team
Each person will get a set menu of – 2 x Abseils of your choice & 1 x Flying Fox.
All activities require a $200 non-refundable deposit at the time of your registration. Then it's up to you to fundraise the balance!

Email the page to your friends and colleagues and ask to be sponsored. You can also establish an agreement with your company to contribute 50% of the required fundraising target or have funds raised matched by your company. You can print a report from my account in mycause to present to your company for this purpose.
