It’s no joke that some of our children don’t know a kippah from a chuppah.

Thank you for your generous support of UJEB in the past.  Your significant contribution allows UJEB to continue its important work as the sole provider of Jewish Education in Victorian State schools.

You may not be aware that our demand has grown 25 per cent in the past five years.  The scope of activities currently includes:

·         Jewish religious instruction for 1250 primary students in in 38 Primary Schools - equating  to over 100 classes a week

·         Informal education and activities including camps at four State secondary schools  covering 300+ students

·         in 3 afterschool centres offering camps, formal and informal learning to over XX children

It all adds up.

Educating 1,500 students a week makes UJEB the largest Jewish Educational Institution in Victoria. For many of our students, UJEB is their only pathway to the local and global Jewish community.

It costs UJEB $160,000.00 annually to run our core program in 38 schools. You can help us continue this vital work.

$400.00 supports a class for a term.

$1,600.00 facilitates one class for an entire year

$2,000.00 prints our curriculum booklets and teacher guides for a term

$5,000 writes our curriculum for a term.

UJEB receives no government funding and as such we rely entirely on your support to continue to provide our range of formal and informal educational programs.

Please support UJEB in connecting our children with their Jewish heritage, culture and identity.

Yours Sincerely,

Yossi Goldfarb

President, United Jewish Education Board.
