Designed as an endurance event, The Advertiser Colliers International Trailblazer Challenge gives participants the choice of 18, 34, 50 or 100km distances to tackle in teams of two, three and four. Experience a walk (or run) through the stunning Adelaide Hills and Mt Lofty Ranges, and take up the opportunity to push your limits and truly challenge yourself.
Set over the weekend of the 10th and 11th of October 2009, this year’s event is set to draw a record crowd. Open to all ages* the Advertiser Colliers International Trailblazer Challenge offers a variety of stages to suit all fitness levels and capabilities. Trailblazer is a fully supported event, providing participants with food & water at checkpoints spread out over the 100km. Participants will stop at various checkpoints along the track to rest and most importantly re-fuel!
Race goers are also given sponsorship targets to aim for, with all funds raised going to the world standard wilderness adventure program for youth at risk run by the Operation Flinders Foundation, and to the Two Degrees of Separation project offered by the YWCA. A goal of $100,000 has been set for this year’s event ….lets get cracking.
