The children of St Kieran Catholic Primary School in Tuart Hill Western Australia are raising money for a major piece of play equipment in their Adventure Playground.
With fundraising support from parents and friends, the students are aiming to raise enough money to purchase a rope climber that will be used and loved by dozens of students at every opportunity. This is their fundraiser – they source donations and they participate in the Fun Run.
By getting sponsors for an activity that gets them outside and exercising, they can fund a piece of equipment that will help them to enjoy the outdoors and stay fit and healthy every day at school.
To make the fundraiser a little more exciting, each donation will be allocated to a nominated class. Whole class incentives will be achieved when set targets are reached. The class who raises the most money at the end of the campaign will win a class excursion.
The St Kieran Parents and Friends Association is happy to support this initiative and work with the school to achieve a positive outcome for the students. We know that when we reach our goal, the new equipment will be a much-loved addition to the school for many years to come. We need approximately $25,000 to purchase the rope climber and every donation gets us a little closer to our goal.
