Helensvale was established in 1974 as a community that would offer an excellent lifestyle for people who share an appreciation of both country leisure and suburban convenience.

The school was opened on 23rd of January 1984 with an initial enrolment of 238. The school is situated on a 6.1 hectare site. The grounds reflect the rolling hillsides, bushland and creek settings of the ecology and environment of Helensvale. This is reflected in our school logo. Today the population of the school has grown and we now have approximately 1100 students.

At Helensvale State School we take pride in pursuing high standards in our academic, sporting and music programs and combined with our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support program (SWPBS) all students strive to succeed. Students are proud to wear their school uniform which is well recognised in the Helensvale community and provides children with a sense of belonging.

Ipswich East State School is located in the Ipswich Region of South East Queensland. Established in 1958, Ipswich East State School makes a difference to ensure that together, we can achieve.Through teaching we empower students to be able to experience success in their lives.

Currently the school has a student population of approximately 417 students from Prep to Year 6. The school draws the majority of its students from East Ipswich, North Booval and Basin Pocket. The full range of curriculum areas are well catered for with a special education program also being offered.

The school offers a range of specialist lessons. Children access specialist lessons in Physical Education, Music, Library, ICT, and for students in year 5 and 6, German. An Instrumental Program is continually developing within the school with Woodwind, Brass and Percussion being offered.

Karumba State School is a small remote school situated on the Gulf Of Carpentaria, that caters for the educational needs of students from Prep to year 7.

Currently our school has 40 students enrolled across 2 classrooms cared for by a Principal, 2 fulltime teachers, 3 teacher aides, cleaner, grounds person, pool supervisor and an administration officer.

Our students, staff and the school community continually strive to maintain very high expectations for student outcomes, and school staff, and community relations.

We are passionate about education and creating the best possible learning opportunities and life pathways for our students. This is evident in each of our classrooms and the way we do business on a daily basis.

Keilor Primary School

Our History

Established in 1875, Keilor Primary School is located in the City of Brimbank. Originally located on top of the Bonfield Street Hill it was moved to the old police paddock at the bottom of the same hill in 1940. In 1960 the site was moved to Kennedy St in Keilor Village, where it remains today, adjacent to the football oval and close to the Keilor Village shopping centre. In October 1981 a fire destroyed the wooden section of the building which housed seven classrooms. At commencement in 1875 the school had 35 students enrolled, one head teacher and an assistant (his wife), and by 1993 there were 11 classrooms, 17 teaching staff and 297 students. As we start 2015 we have in excess of 570 students, a staff of 43 (several are part time) and 25 classrooms. Throughout the years, Keilor Primary School has created a distinctive presence within the local community as a progressive provider of high quality educational services and has continued to have an outstanding record of achievement.

Longreach State School caters for children from Prep to Year Seven.

In addition to core Literacy and Numeracy, all students explore subjects such as Science, History, Studies of Society and Environment, Visual Arts, Music and Health and Physical Education. Our school also boasts facilities such as electronic whiteboards, iPads, a computer lab in each block, as well as specialised music rooms, a state of the art eLearning centre, a school hall, kitchens for cooking, a design workshop, and extensive teacher resources. Richmond Hill State School P&C is an important link between families and school management and administration and is part of several key decision making processes and fosters community involvement.

We are so lucky to have an active P&C team. We are blessed to have volunteers and seek more volunteers to give time to work in our school tuckshop and lend a hand by working in classrooms. These are just some ways volunteers in our school make a difference and enrich our school family.

The P&C also provides the tuckshop service to the school community.

St Mary’s School was established in 1953 and is situated in the Inner West of Sydney. It has a rich tradition and history, is strongly linked to the parish, and serves a multicultural population.
