Rogue Runners
You can become a rogue runner by participating in any running event around Australia and at the same time raise vital funds for the Sirens of Silence to help strengthen support and raise awareness for our cause!
STEP 1 – Simply sign up for any running event you want to take part in around Australia
STEP 2 – Set up an online fundraising page by clicking on 'START FUNDRAISING'
STEP 3 – Share you fundraising page with you friends, family, work and broader network on social media, emails and face-to-face!
Rogue Runners Club Australia or ‘RRCA’ is a running crew established in Perth in 2011 with foundations centred on family, fitness and fundraising.
There are Rogue crew members across Australia, New Zealand, UK and USA, most of whom are based in Western Australia and Queensland.
It's free to join the crew, membership is gained by simply declaring yourself “Rogue” on our Facebook page and committing to ‘run/walk with heart’ to raise awareness and funds in support of our triple zero heroes through Sirens of Silence Charity Inc.
Our members are encouraged to purchase and run/walk in RRCA/SOS event gear (i.e. singlet, tee, cap etc.) from the Sirens of Silence online shop Rogue media exposure to date has included the Partnerunning Show on blog talk radio, Channel 7 HBF Run for a Reason TV special, Nine News Network, Perth Now and local newspaper groups.
Becoming a Rogue is a fantastic way to connect with and give back to the community by helping others who really need it, to date the amazing crew has raised over $60,000 for well deserving charities and causes.
The Rogue’s mission is to become the ‘go-to’ community running crew and network for paid or voluntary emergency service personnel and their families to assist with fitness, running and nutritional goals in support of reducing and preventing the impacts and symptoms of post-traumatic stress and mental illness.
So what to do now: declare yourself 'Rogue' on the Facebook page at RRCA Members Group, and meet some of the wonderful inspiring, creative like minded people from Rogue Runners Club Australia.
