MAKING THE INVISIBLE DISABILITY VISIBLE
Brain Injury is an invisible disability that affects more than 1.6 million Australians.
Living with a Brain Injury can be like climbing a mountain. Every day can feel like a long, slow, uphill trudge. Some days the terrain seems steeper than others, but it’s always uphill. From the outside, no-one else can see these hidden mountains.
Four people who understand these ‘hidden mountains’ are in training to make an assault on the summit of Mont Blanc, one of Europe’s most visible mountains and most challenging climbs. Follow the summit team’s trials and tribulations as they prepare for their Sidetember Challenge. A climb that truly symbolises the struggle those with Brain Injury, their families and carers face every day.
If you would like to take part in your own Sidetember Challenge, register and fundraise with us here.
You CAN make a difference.
