The Jericho Road Race is on again in 2016! We are raising much needed funds for our Refugee Response, Allowah Presbyterian Children's Hospital and our Chaplains.

The race is on Saturday 5th March at the Parramatta Riverside Park (Parramatta River Foreshore). While the race is on in Sydney, there is nothing to stop people in other areas getting involved. If you'd like to host your own race let us know and we can help with the logistics. Or you can just run your own Race .. sign up, get sponsors and run, walk, ride or push around your home town. We'd love you to be part of the day in anyway you can.

There will be three categories of event:

1. The Really Serious People Event: This will be a 6 to 8 kilometre self-timed run or ride for those who want a little friendly competition.

2. The More Leisurely Event: This will be a 2 to 4 kilometre track that you can walk, ride push or run, either by yourself, with your familiy or with a group.

3. The Cake Walk Event: For those who just want to wander for a while and then eat cake.

Yes, we know, it doesn't sound very serious .. that's kind of the point. What we want is a great day out with familiy, friends and folk from church where we can have some fun and enjoy each other's company and where everyone can join in... as well as enjoy a little light hearted competition.

The location is ideal for parents with kids who can make the most of the circular track and still be in eyesight ... and it is also ideal for the Cake Walkers to watch the goings on and then wait with their picnic lunch for the Really Serious People to finish.
