The Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay had a humble but successful beginning when Graham Woodrup's, (or Woody as he was known) wife Hester and a team of women challenged the Port Fairy Apex Club and another team of local Port Fairy identities to ride in relay from Mildura to Port Fairy in 24 hours.

The Children’s Cancer Centre Foundation would like to thank previous participants for their incredible fundraising efforts in the Murray to Moyne bike ride. In 2012, cyclists riding for the Children's Cancer Centre Foundation raised $38,814 and in 2011 raised $45,451. Your contribution has helped us provide vital support for cancer research, clinical care and activities for children, adolescents and young adults with cancer, and resources for their families across Victoria.

The Children's Cancer Foundation was established in 1992 by parents of children with cancer. The Foundation aims to ensure children in Australia have access to the world’s best possible care to save their lives.

Having a child diagnosed with cancer is the beginning of a journey that challenges the hardiest amongst us. Throughout that journey, the Children's Cancer Foundation is there.

The Foundation funds programs that help children not only cope with the pain, but also experience an environment of creativity and expression and give children a reason to smile. Family Counselling and support to help navigate the overwhelming world of treatment are also funded by the Foundation.

Brilliant minds are working hard to find a cure for cancer. The Children’s Cancer Foundation is committed to building a significant program of clinical research to attract the world’s best childhood cancer clinical researchers, to find new and kinder treatments for children with cancer.
