2011 is the year that the Jimmy Dooley’s ride from Adelaide to Melbourne to raise much needed funds for Autism Victoria.

The inspiration for the ride is the spirit of adventure and a desire to support a very worthy cause.  Many of our friends and colleagues are directly affected by the challenges of autism and hence fuelling our desire to support the efforts of Autism Victoria and the work they do in the community.

The challenge is this:
Riders brave and bold, to ride from Adelaide to Melbourne, in relay format over 3 days. Over 1000kms in 72 hrs!

The basic itinerary is as follows;
Thursday 27th October - Load bikes and gear at MGS.

Saturday 29th October - The Jimmy Dooley’s ride out of Adelaide - destination Robe SA.
Sunday 30th October – Robe SA to Port Campbell Victoria.
Monday 31st October – Port Campbell to Melbourne via Queenscliff and Sorento.

The ride is a serious one and a considerable challenge and as a result requires considerable planning. Registration and entry on this ride will be approximately $250 and will cover Kit (bib shorts and Jersey + other items depending on funding) Airfare and motel accommodation.

We gratefully acknowledge the support of our generous sponsors.
