‘Convicts for a Cause’ is a fundraising event jointly organized by the Rotary Clubs of Perth and Mount Lawley. It will be held on Tuesday 30th November 2010 from 6pm to 8:30pm at Fremantle Prison. The occasion will resemble an 1800s crime scene affair based on the highly sensationalised murder case of Frederick Bailey Deeming. Participants will be locked up with only their cell phone as their ticket to freedom.

Participants who opt to be locked up just raise $500 bail using their contacts to be granted a ‘royal pardon’.

Participants who do not wish to be locked up but would like to attend the event, please follow the link:

Proceeds from the event will be distributed by CF WA to 4 beneficiaries: The Global Good Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Western Australia, Multiple Sclerosis Society WA and Polio Plus
