Based in the Hunter Valley, NSW, The Mai-Wel Group provides opportunity and choice to people with a disability and disadvantage.  We champion individual decision making and choice for the people we support in their working life, living options and lifestyle and leisure activities.

The Mai-Wel Group has a strong 50 + year history and is;

• Focused on offering vibrant and innovative services which provide opportunities for people with a disability to be the drivers of the support they require to live the life they choose.
• Committed to providing the highest quality service for each individual, delivering variety with enthusiasm to make each day a step toward achieving the goals and dreams of the people central to our mission – people with a disability.
• One of the larger disability service providers in the Lower Hunter Region, providing services and programs to more than 1280 people with a disability across nine local government areas.

The Mai-Wel Group employs more than 360 support and administrative staff and 100 supported employees within our Australian Disability Enterprises (ADE’s) and our mission carries throughout the organisation, from management, staff and on to our service users.

Throughout the years the tireless efforts of community groups, families and individuals have seen these humble beginnings develop into the independent organisation that exists today.
