The Great Ocean cycle tour to help kids in poverty begins in Geelong and ends in Warnambool. The Great Ocean Road is world renowned for its dramatic seascapes and beautiful bushland, with cascading waterfalls and stunning rain forests. The tour caters to the advanced and keen weekend cyclists. Riding as a single group of no more than 28 riders with support van and car protecting the riders.The total distance covered is 291 kms over three days.

Each cyclist to sign up for the Great Ocean Road cycle tour is responsible for the following: * Raising a minimum of $1,250 with a target of $2,500, which goes directly to the charity chosen.

* Being 'ride-fit' (Average 26-30 km per hour) via completion of the necessary training.

* Being a 'team player' and willing to help out during the tour.

* A sign up registration fee of $75 is required with the trip application.

Day 1 - Geelong to Apollo Bay (Feb 13, 2011) Distance: 124 km
Day 2 - Apollo Bay to Port Campblee (Feb 14, 2011) Distance: 98 km 
Day 3 - Port Campbell to Warnambool (Feb 14, 2011) Distance: 69 km
