Thanks for visiting my Fundraising Page Mental Health Matters 200 (MHM200) is a cycling challenge held during WA Mental Health Week to raise awareness, start conversations, and support mental health services across Western Australia. Riders can choose from 200km, 100km or 50km distances, with all funds supporting Lifeline WA, MATES in Construction and 20Talk. We ride for those living with mental illness, those who are fighting their battles silently, and those we have tragically lost. We ride to break the stigma, to support our mates, and to change what it means to be a man in modern‑day Australia. Starting at Mullaloo Beach and riding through to Mandurah and Cockburn, MHM200 is a journey of connection, resilience and community. Whether you ride 50km, 100km or the full 200km, every kilometre helps create awareness and supports organisations delivering life‑saving mental health and suicide‑prevention services. Join us on Saturday 10th October 2026 and be part of something that truly matters. Ride for yourself. Ride for your mates. Ride for mental health.
Update
05 Aug 2026
THIS year hits different. This year marks 10 years since we lost Paul. We also lost our beautiful Serena, and then just three weeks after last year's ride, one of my biggest supporters was gone. In December, we lost Bill, a good mate and fellow FIFO worker. To be honest... it has absolutely broken me. This past year has probably been my hardest since I first opened up about my own mental health struggles. I've had days where I didn't want to leave the house. Some of those days turned into weeks. I've spent countless nights looking back through photos, videos and memories with a broken heart and tears in my eyes, knowing that's all I have left. I won't lie... there have been moments where I've thought about repeating what I was stopped from doing back in 2021. But I'm still here. I'm back talking to professionals and getting the help I need. I never said I was "better," and I never said I was perfect. Recovery isn't a straight line. But one thing I will never stop doing is fighting, speaking up, and doing everything I can to help break the stigma around mental health and show people that it's okay not to be okay. I made a promise on that windy night back in March 2021 to Brian that I would get the help I needed, and I've kept my word. My little blonde-haired, blue-eyed princess, Wynter Ruby, is the reason I keep fighting every single day. I hope that one day we'll meet Brian or his daughters so we can simply say... thank you. Because without him, I might not be here today. This year, I need my family, friends, businesses and community more than ever. MHM200 is so close to reaching the incredible milestone of $100,000 raised. Every single dollar goes directly to our chosen beneficiaries. That's not just a number—that's lives changed, families supported, and hope given to people when they need it most. Lifeline WA changed my life. They helped save my life. They gave my kids their dad back. So if you're able to donate, please do. Your donation might just give another family the same second chance that mine was given. On 10 October, we ride for every family affected by mental health. We ride for every person still fighting. We ride so nobody feels they have to suffer alone. Paul. Serena. Bill. This year's ride is for you. I know you'll be with us every single inch of that 200km journey. No One Rides Alone. ❤️
