I will be donating 15cm of my hair to Real Fringe, and all funds raised will go to CanTeen who directly supports people suffering from cancer.

This year, I lost a loved one to colon cancer. It happened so fast, the worst being within two weeks. He fought harder and harder during the long battle prior, but eventually the pain was too much for him to bear. And from the day we let go, it struck me that I never spent the time to talk to him. I never took the time to acknowledge how hard he has worked all his life, or to thank him for all he's done for my family. And the regret I felt after was gut wrenching.
My donation of hair and fundraiser this year is a late dedication to his life, strength and humility, but also for those suffering from cancer today. Cancer affects everyone, and my granduncle isn't the only person I know that is fighting the cancer battle.
Said well by Zach Sobiech (a cool guy that passed away from cancer at 18), I implore you to remember that you don't have to wait for things to happen to live your life.
You don't have to find out you're dying to start living.
Look out for those in your life that have or will be soldiers running headfirst into the battlefield, and spend every minute with them like it was your last together. And do what you can to make every day together the best day of your lives.
