Baluchestan is one of the most disadvantaged areas in Iran, where remote villages are not equipped with nearby schools and transportation, limiting young girls' education access. Without this access, young girls are required to walk long, unsafe distances or in most cases, not attend school at all - leaving them vulnerable to child marriage, teen pregnancy and keeping them disadvantaged in their homes forever. We’re committed to fixing this last few years, with donations raised from our own communities - we were able to support many young girls in Pirsohrab, Baluchestan in accessing and retaining their primary education, and this year with your support we can do more. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to sponsor buses for Baluchestan children to access the education they need. We’ll be hiking/walking in September to raise awareness, and every dollar you donate or raise with us helps. We’re walking long distances, so they don’t have to. Please join us by donating or organising your own local hike/walk to raise funds towards our goal. We have hikes/walks planned around the world to support our cause, including Australia, Canada, USA, and Europe. The donations we give and raise will go directly to Yarrafoundation.com, committed to giving students the learning they deserve. Our hope is that by taking long walks, these young girls won’t have to.
