As you know I'm a keen cyclist and I've been training to be part of the 2024 fundraising ride this time in Tasmania. It was a 7 day event going through towns including Launceston, Devonport, Beaconsfield, and Bridport. A very hilly ride with long days and I acheived a total of over 600 hilly windy km and loved every km of it (almost!) This fund raising is for a great cause, aimed at early detection of Ovarian cancer, cancer treatment and to build a wellness centre where families will be able to stay overnight whilst their loved ones are undergoing treatment. We're really excited that the focus this year will be to raise funds for the organisation called Ovarian Cancer Australia. They do fantastic work in many different ways supporting women with ovarian cancer.
