Since 2021, the Tumut Eagles Football Club has held The Matthew Lopez Cup, a preseason match for charity. Matthew Lopez was a former player, coach and president of the Eagles and made a huge impact on the club and the people at the club. In 2020, he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and passed away in early 2021. He had an infectious personality and was loved by all at the Tumut Eagles. Please help us fundraise for a good cause, and make the lives of people with lymphoma that little bit easier.

Lopez Cup went really well other than the lightning cutting the game short. Game day donations were up at $245. Thanks to everyone who came down and for all the donations.

The Matthew Lopez Cup will be played on Saturday the 25th of March at the Bull Paddock. The match kicks off at 11am, so come down and enjoy a bit of football.
