I haven't learnt! In March I am off again on another Rotary Ride for Ovarian Cancer. This 7 day ride will take in parts of Gippsland including Traralgon, Foster and Inverloch before finishing at Warragul - not too many hills in that lot is there? Being a keen cyclist and I've been increasing my training recently (as you can see from the photo). This ride raises funds aimed at developing an early detection test for Ovarian cancer and to build a wellness centre where families will be able to stay overnight whilst their loved ones are undergoing treatment. 100% of what you donate will go to the cause. The charity runs with very little overhead. All people involved are volunteers. As I huff and puff along the road I think of those who may be doing it tough with this disease and hope that my fund-raising efforts will assist someone in the future.
