In August this year, our world flipped upside down, at age 36, I learnt I that I have an Aggressive Form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system. I was the last person I was worried about and never in my wildest dreams did I think cancer would come knocking on our door, until it did. My wish is for everyone to learn the early signs of lymphoma so that no one else needs to go through the shock that we did. This disease has the potential for cure because of wonderful organisations like Lymphoma Australia. I have just finished my first round of chemo and as losing my luscious locks is inevitable, I thought I would beat the drugs and shave it before I wake up one gloomy morning to find it all on my pillow.
