I have decided that it is time to tackle a challenge, that being to walk the Bibbulmun track. I will be walking from Kalamunda to Albany; a distance of just over 1,000km. I will be doing it solo but with great support from Annie and the family, starting in mid Aug and aiming to be in Albany in a couple months following. It seemed too good an opportunity not to use this event to raise some funds for a good cause, and I have chosen Alzheimer’s WA to support. I’d welcome your support whether that be just in mind or via a cash donation, but please don’t feel you have to. I’d certainly appreciate it if you could pass this message on to others who you think might like to know about my whereabouts for a couple of months!

I made it to Albany. I have successfully completed the end to end walk on the Bibbulmun track from Kalamunda (Perth) to Albany covering 1000kms over a period of 49 days, arriving a short time ago. Thanks again for your support for Alzheimer’s WA for which we have now raised over $7,600. I also very much appreciate the words of support for my walk, and there were plenty of tough times when that got me through. I’ll update my website with photos of the second half of my walk in the coming weeks and will let you know when that is complete.
