Thanks for visiting my Fundraising Page for Ks for Katoke! Over the month of June, I'll be walking and/or cycling a total of 300 km or an average 10km every day (maybe 500km?), accompanied by "Team Little Legs" which will include my 9 month old grand daughter, Addison and my 5 year old kelpie, Molly. We'll be walking to raise funds for the Katoke Trust. $1,320 is my fundraising target.
$1,320 is the cost of provide one student with accommodation, food, health care and education at Katoke-Lweru Secondary School for a whole year. $1,320 can change a life.
The effects of COVID-19 are ongoing, especially for developing nations. In 2020 local families who were previously able to enrol their children have faced significant financial hardship. There are now many children who will only be able to continue their secondary education if we are able to raise funds to sponsor them.
You can sponsor me and leave a message by selecting the donate button above.
Thanks for supporting our efforts in raising money for this cause!

The Katoke Trust for Overseas Aid opened a secondary school in Tanzania in 2009. Since then we have provided education to over 1000 students. The majority of Katoke-Lweru Secondary School (KLSS) students live on-site but some travel each day from local villages. In June I am taking the journey to school alongside the KLSS students and helping to RAISE $100,000 so that the Katoke Trust can continue to provide children with the priceless gift of education.
Well done Sharon! Amazing effort x
