Focussing in on WA specifically, The Mental Health Commission discusses that: - 456,912 people were prescribed mental health related medication in WA in 2018-19 (17.5% of the WA population). - In January 2020, there were 1,421 mental health inpatient admissions to WA hospitals. - 60,629 people were treated by community mental health services in WA in 2017-18. Ozland, having a 150 people strong workforce in the Civil and Mining Sectors are aware of the rules and regulations for compliance around Mental Health. We also want to ensure that programs such as LIVIN are supported so they can keep getting the message out to the public. A good first step is making Mental Health a common/comfortable conversation, and promoting that "IT AINT WEAK TO SPEAK" is a great way of doing that.
