Thanks for visiting my Fundraising Page for Oscars100 The Archie! In February 2021 l will be running 55km in a very challenging trail course around Mt Buller. This is an event that has been created by an amazing couple to raise funds for various charities supporting kids and families with autism. Thank you so much for supporting my efforts in raising money for this cause - l really appreciate it!!!!! Hut 2 Hut and The Archie are the key fundraising events for the charity Oscars100. The Oscars100 charity supports kids and families living with autism by providing services and equipment that help deliver important early intervention programs. This year, thanks to the brilliant fundraising effort by our competitors, Oscars100 was able to fully fund a new program called The Archie Club, an important program designed to support children and adolescents of siblings who have autism. There is no government funding for this type of program so without the event it won’t exist. 22 children have gone through the program to date and we have another 50 on a waitlist. This is a life changing program that provides a social connection for kids who may find it hard in day to day life.
