In 2005, the surviving veteran members of the Rats of Tobruk Association donated $1,500,000 to the Royal Children’s Hospital to establish ‘The Rats of Tobruk Association Neuroscience Fellowship Fund’. Since then an annual Fellowship has been awarded to a young doctor so that he or she can undertake studies associated with paediatric neuroscience. The Fellowship has had an inspirational track record of success and achievement. It is a sought after, prestigious Fellowship. The growing number of recipients is contributing to an international network of paediatric neuroscience specialist. 2021 is the 80TH Anniversary of the Siege of Tobruk. To commemorate this, we would like to raise $100,000 which will help maintain ‘The Rats of Tobruk Association Neuroscience Fellowship Fund’ into the future; this will ensure the mighty Rats of Tobruk are never forgotten.
