I’m Anaya, Jade’s little sister. I never got to meet my akki (big sister) but she has been a big part of my life. I will be cutting my hair to help create wigs for children who have lost their hair due to a medical condition. This is also to raise funds for akki’s memorial fund, the Jadeybird memorial fund, at the Royal Children’s Hospital. The Royal Children's Hospital has been a home away from home for akki. The big day is the 21^st of October, when I will be cutting 35.5cm of my hair during the school assembly. The hair will be donated to Hair with Heart who will use it to make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to a medical condition. These funds go to support a scholarship that is offered to doctors who treat children with childhood glaucoma and other eye problems.
