Thank you for visiting this fundraising page in memory of Patricia Watts. After a long and brave battle with MND Trish passed away peacefully with her family by her side on the 18th of November. MND is a life-limiting disease, and although MND progresses differently for each person, the average life expectancy is 2-3 years. The disease affects the nerves (motor neurones) that communicate between the brain and the muscles that enable us to move, speak, swallow and breathe. There is currently no cure for MND but symptoms can be managed to some extent to help improve quality-of-life. It was Trish's wish that donations to MND be given in lieu of funeral flowers. We thank you on her behalf for supporting our efforts to raise money for this cause.
