The CSG play a vital role in keeping the Victorian Jewish community safe. While the CSG is traditionally known for its critical role in combatting anti-Semitism locally, the CSG do so much more. This past year has shone a spotlight on the critical work performed by the CSG’s expert crisis management team and Intelligence department, working to minimise any threat to the safety of Jewish lives, no matter the nature of the crisis or threat at hand. The CSG is committed to its mission statement to protect Jewish life and Jewish way of life. This year’s annual appeal campaign hopes to demonstrate just a snapshot of the breadth of what this mission statement entails. Funds raised will go towards crisis management, intelligence capacity, safety and security consulting, improving critical security technology and advanced training for our volunteers.
