We are looking to buy a portable office container and fit-out as a library and small meeting point for teachers, students and parents. This would enable us to make all the donated books available to our students. The books are now stored in boxes and bags in a storage container and only partially accessible for teaching purposes. We would like to incorporate some visual improvement to the unit to showcase sustainable ideas of how the environmental aspect of a building structure can be improved i.e. green roof and vertical gardens with rainwater harvesting for irrigation. The unit would be powered by solar and power bank. The library will be located on the school ground of Reservoir West Primary School and to be integrated into the school sportsground upgrade works commencing soon.
