Thanks for visiting our Fundraising Page for 2020 SmartBar Walk for a Veteran! As a by veteran families, for veteran families organisation, the APOD team are keen as mustard to support this event and all of the dedicated charities involved. As the official partner of the Department of Veterans' Affairs, APOD serves to connect current and ex-service personnel and their families, with businesses who recognise their service and want to say 'thank you' by offering discounts and benefits. On Saturday 22nd August the annual SmartBar Walk for a Veteran with PTSD heads to the fire grounds of this summer's bush fires in the Adelaide Hills, to connect Veterans and Emergency Services with the local and wider community, and to raise funds for Veteran and Emergency Services health support programs. The chosen charities this year are: RSB Operation K9, Heroes on the Homefront (HOTH), Australian Professional Firefighters Foundation (APFF) and CFS Foundation – SA. Thank you for supporting our efforts in raising money for Veterans and emergency service personnel.
