Hello! Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page for the QV1 Descent 2020! Part of working in a remote community is promoting and participating in local youth initiatives, which bring better opportunities for the remote regions youth. One of the initiatives that I and my employer, St Barbara Ltd is supporting is a not for profit organisation called Teach Learn Grow. TLG work with youths to develop literacy and numeracy in remote community through online, interactive tutoring programs, bridging the gap between urban schooling opportunities and remote localities. It is important to keep these services free for the students that depend on them. Education in remote communities is a challenge, having the opportunity to be tutored after school in a program that focuses on core subjects is a huge benefit. To the business partners that I have sent this to, I am hoping that through the services you have contributed to the mining industry in remote localities, you may be willing to donate and give a little back.
