At Deer Park North Primary school, we are excited to be nominated for the Jamie Oliver ‘Learn Your Fruit and Veg’ Program. Being a school located in one of the lowest socioeconomic suburbs of Melbourne, through sponsorship it would mean students are able to access this program and the lifelong benefits it would bring. Through the school garden program we’ve already seen how new experiences and opportunities have led to brighter outcomes in the health and well-being of our community. This program would further diversify their future choices in a positive way and open up a wealth of knowledge and experiences.
