We all rely on these volunteer heros to keep us safe and protect our homes and livelihoods. I would like to try and show them some gratitude by supporting them and their organisation for the work they do. These people are our frontline, they risk their lives and their health to do the right thing and ask nothing in return. If that isn't the definition of a hero then I don't know what is, let's show them we care too and value their sacrifices.
