As most of you know, my dad, Abdu, was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers in July 2017 at the age of 61. Those of you who know dad know exactly how much he enjoys his walks around Perth so it seems perfect for us to go for a wander in support of a cause so very close to our hearts - the Alzheimer's WA's Walk to Remember. The Walk will raise funds and awareness for those living with dementia, Alzheimers being just one of the many dementias. Alzheimer's WA have offered our family an incredible amount of support on what has already been a challenging journey.
