Thanks for visiting my Fundraising Page for Oscars100 Feb-stival of Hair! I'm committing to growing and styling my hair in a classic 1980's look in an effort to raise funds for Oscars100 - a charity dedicated to raising money to support early intervention programs for kids and families living with autism. Feb-stival of Hair is about more than just changing my hair style. There is a very important reason I am doing this and I hope I get your support. Many people, and families, living with autism are judged unfairly on a daily basis. This can simply be because there are no visible or external traits for autism and behaviors that assist with coping can be considered inappropriate or offensive. For the month of Feb 2020 I'm hoping to get an understanding of what this judgement could feel like for kids and families living with autism by simply changing my hair style. For the 29 days of Feb I'm committing to have an 80s inspired look that will more than likely be neither cool or in fashion.
