We are a group of 4 dads from Broome that are completing the Gibb Challenge this year. This involves cycling 700km of the iconic “Gibb River Road” between Derby and El Questro in the Kimberley’s of Western Australia. This mad trip is completed in over 5 days in 30+ degrees heat and involves riding 700km of heavily corrugated dirt road with a few croc infested river crossings thrown in for good measure. And with the recent cyclone activity, there will be a lot of river crossings!! Add sleeping in swags in mozzie and croc prone areas and this should be an adventure of a life time…
And this is when I need you guys to help. It would be really appreciated if you make a donation. Please do not be shy, can be big or small, it does not matter. Any donation is a good donation as we are hoping to raise $6000 for the Royal Flying Doctors Service. RFDS assist almost 70,000 people in remote WA every year through aero medical retrievals and transfers, remote healthcare clinics and telehealth service. And with 10 kids between these families and a 4 motorbikes thrown in for good measure there is a good chance we will be needing to use the RFDS while living in Broome
