Soul Cafe is a local, non-government funded charity, who with the support of over 130 volunteers, provide hundreds of free sit down and take away meals each week to the vulnerable and marginalised members of our community. My purpose behind sleeping on the Street for Week is to raise money and more awareness for a major issue right here an our home town and to get more of an understanding myself of what some people have to go endure." Many of Soul Cafe’s guests are dealing with issues of homelessness, poverty, drug or alcohol addiction, crime or violence, separation, mental health or illness concerns and accommodation needs.
