The reason I’m racing is to promote awareness to what is domestic and family violence and in doing so make a difference to those around me who have gone through DFV by standing up and saying “Not Now Not Ever”. As an officer in the Queensland Government I joined the race to champion change through awareness and its impact on the community, within the Government and my department. The best way for me to support the victims was to race and raise funds to support the work of Australia’s CEO Challenge. Our community is suffering because of the damage of DFV, we need to stand up together and say “Not Now Not Ever”.
