Erin & Mark Fleskens

My Father Mark Fleskens has been a Police Officer for 37 years, and I Erin Fleskens have been a Police Officer for 2.5 years.

We are embarking on a trip in August to complete the Kokoda Trail in 8 days, as apart of a team from Blue HOPE.

We have both seen too many colleagues go through a hard time with Mental Health, mainly because they felt they could not tell work about it, in fear of losing their job and friends.

We are hoping that by doing this 8 day trek through Kokoda, we will raise some awareness and remove the stigma of Mental Health in the Police Force.

Blue HOPE is an amazing company that is there for you, 24/7, in your deepest and darkest moments. It's just a matter of picking up the phone. You are never alone.

We are hoping to raise the costs of the trek to get us over there and everything else is to go towards Blue HOPE to ensure they continue to operate to save Police lives.
