After a long road to recovery, I have chosen to represent Team Australia at the World Transplant Games in Perth in April 2023. You can help me reach my goal through Transplant Australia to assist with training, flights, uniform, meals and attendance fees. Swimming has gone a full circle for me, after suffering a Heart Attack in 2017 after a Swimming session at Hornsby Pool , and then received the gift of life by having a Heart Transplant in March 2018, today I was able to compete in 3 Swimming events, winning a silver medal in 200m Freestyle (yes only 2 people in our age group just to enter and complete was my aim) and also Bronze in 100 Freestyle . 2 more events tomorrow Much training and effort The gift of life , Thanking my donor Resilience Apprection Achievement Photos to follow

A huge thank you to everyone (friends, family and work colleagues) who supported me to reach my goal of raising $3,000 to get to the World Transplant Games in Perth in April. Yesterday I got across the line with a very generous donation from the Rotary Club of Wahroonga’s Youth Committee. I’m so thrilled to be able to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation and thanks to Galston, Glenorie and Hills Rural Community News for running a story about this in their latest edition. If you still want to donate, all monies will go directly to Transplant Australia to assist them with their vital work. I have raised the target to $5000 help Transplant Australia help others achieve their goals and if we reach that target we can move to $7500 This weekend I am attending a training camp at Narrabeen Sport and Recreation organised by Transplant Australia, I will take photos if the chance arises I’m looking forward to giving you further updates from the Games in Perth in April. Wish me luck!!!
